October 18-20 @ the Hob Knob Hotel, Edgartown: Featured author in second annual Women’s Writers’ Weekend
Featured Event: Hob Knob Women’s Writers’ Weekend
Author Holly Hodder Eger shared her creative writing process with women from across the country at an exclusive women’s weekend this October, hosted by Edgartown’s Hob Knob Hotel & Spa. The weekend workshop included discussions with the author at Hob Knob, a picnic lunch at Lambert’s Cove Beach, and visits to the other iconic island locations featured in “Split Rock,” including a private tour of the Aquinnah Lighthouse.
“We featured Holly several times at our summer teatime series, which we call the Art of ‘Hob Knob,’” said Diane Carr, the hotel’s general manager. “Our guests loved her, and they loved the book. It was such a terrific response that we decided to expand it into a women’s weekend, with Holly guiding the group along the path of her creative journey.”
Next year’s women writers’ weekend is scheduled for October 18-20. The itinerary includes an evening of wine & Vineyard cheese with Holly in the Hob Knob parlor, a morning of writing workshops led by the author, and a beach walk to Split Rock.
